Photographer Horst P.Horst took several shots of the mythical model from the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring 1947 collection.

This evening ensemble consists of a short, full black skirt worn with a fitted black crepe peplum jacket, embellished with a shocking pink taffeta facing embroidered with black jet scrolls. The facing continues down the back, ending in a large pouf bow. In the February 1947 issue of Vogue magazine, it was described as "the epitome of her design style."
