Schiaparelli bureau-drawer suit

1936

Cecil Beaton immortalised the first fashion collaboration between Elsa Schiaparelli and Salvador Dali by photographing their suit with drawer pockets from the Winter 1936-37 Haute Couture collection. The set, designed by the photographer, highlighted its surrealist character.
