At the opening ceremony of the 57th Cannes Film Festival's Critics' Week, American actress and playwright Zoe Kazan was wearing Schiaparelli Haute Couture to present her latest movie “Wildlife”, co-written with Paul Dano.
She appeared in a pleated dress in beige organza veiled with blush and powdery pink tulle.
The Costume Institute's spring 2018 exhibition focuses on a conversation between fashion and masterpieces of the medieval era seen through the eye of Catholicism. Presented at The Met Fifth Avenue and The Met Cloisters, the show engages on the unique relationship fusing tradition and its influence on contemporary designers.
Highlights include a selection of papal clothes and accessories never seen outside the Vatican together with select silhouettes from early 20th century to today’s designers.
Among this are some Schiaparelli Haute Couture pieces such as the Summer 1939 « crossed keys of Saint Peter » gown embroidered with pearls, beads, crystals and metal thread or the Summer 1938 waistcoat-cape in black wool embellished with ex-voto embroidered in golden plate, crystals and colorful stones.

She appeared in a white silk crêpe and tulle dress, embroidered with crystals and glass tubes.
Actress Thandie Newton wore Schiaparelli at the “Westworld” Season 2 screening during the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival.
The Westworld star appeared in a ruby red silk satin gabardine suit.
